Lawyer representing businessman Ballu Khan has confirmed that he will hire a New Zealand Queens Counsel to represent his client.
Tevita Fa confirms that he spoke to the QC this morning who is one of the top lawyers in New Zealand.
Fa said Police are yet to lay charges against Ballu Khan however he will try and get him out first from the hospital and try to send him to NZ for medical examinations.
Fa adds he went to visit his client last night and is concerned with his internal injuries and broken jaw.
Fa earlier claimed that his client is now being illegally detained in relation to the alleged assassination plot as he has been in custody for more than 48 hours without any charges being laid.
