Police say Businessman Ballu Khan will have to be further interrogated before charges are laid.

This is the view of Deputy Police Commissioner Eroni Antonio who adds that as of now they need to further question Khan before the next step is taken.

He added that there are no plans to further raid businessman Ballu Khan's residence for evidence as yet.

Police have confirmed that the investigation against Khan will remain suspended as long as he remains admitted at the Suva Private Hospital.

Police continue to guard Khan as his partner, Agnes Bulatiko said him being in hospital is due to dehydration. It has been confirmed that Khan underwent blood and other tests yesterday.

Khan will be further questioned by police for his alleged involvement in the assassination plot against the Interim Prime Minister and others.
