Businessman Ballu Khan is now admitted at the Suva Private hospital and according to his partner, Agnes Bulatiko this is due to dehydration.
The doctors are monitoring his situation and it has been confirmed that Khan is expected to undergo blood tests. Bulatiko said Khan has been re-examined due to his request.
Meanwhile, a Queens Counsel from Auckland Peter Williams and his assistant Chris Read met with Khan this morning at the CID Heaquaters in Suva.
Police have confirmed that Ballu Khan is expected to appear in court later today. Village news was earlier informed that investigators are looking at laying nine charges against Khan, including one count of resisting police arrest.
