Khan, Baledrokadroka Appear At Court
The case was called before Judge Justice Isikeli Mataitoga, he informed both counsels that he had been instructed to adjourn the case.
Justice Mataitoga said that he knows the accused Baledrokadroka and he does not want a conflict of interest to arise.
The case will now be called on Wednesday before Judge Justice Daniel Gounder.
It has been confirmed that Khan's lawyer, QC Peter Williams and Baledrokadroka's counsel Devinesh Sharma will make submissions to seek that the daily curfew from 6pm to 6am, imposed on their clients be set aside. They argue that it has been 6 months since they have been charged and they've adhered to all their bail conditions and the curfew is not necessary.
Baledrokadroka and Khan were charged along with 7 others for their involvement in the alleged assassination plot against the Interim PM Bainimarama and others.
