Businessman Ballu Khan, Ratu Inoke Takiveikata and seven others have been permitted to meet with lawyers representing other accused persons in the case by newly appointed High Court Judge Justice Bruce.

The nine are charged in relation to an alleged assassination plot against Interim Prime Minister and others.

They have been allowed to meet with their counsels and other accused counsel at the CID office for eight hours from Monday to Friday only.

They have also been told to file a written submission by 1st July and the case will be now called on 15th July.

They appeared before Judge Bruce today after Judge Justice Daniel Goundar had transferred the case to a new Judge during the last court date.
