Nasinu soccer team's Solomon striker Aldrine Kilua will miss the opening match of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament this Saturday.
Kilua is a Seventh Day Adventist and does not play soccer on Saturdays.
This is a big blow to the Nasinu side as they will face reigning champions Ba in their opening match at Govind Park.
Nasinu soccer secretary Avikash Singh said they may not be able to field a strong lineup on Saturday as some of their key players are not able to get a release from their employers.
Singh said they have asked Fiji FA to shift the match to later in the evening or on Sunday but no reply has come as yet.
The Nasinu/Ba match is scheduled for 3pm on Saturday at Govind Park.
