Key Stakeholders Meet To Discuss Business
The Forum which lasts for two days at the Radisson Resort Fiji with the theme "Business Tomorrow" is one of the most important business meetings of the year.
According to the Fiji-Australia Business Council website, the theme "Business Tomorrow" is to encapsulate their view that there is a need to look forward and consider the real threats and opportunities facing businesses in Fiji in the future.
The website states that Fiji does not operate in isolation from the rest of the world and the current global economic crisis, climate change issues and labour migration adding that this Forum is planned to cover all of these global issues and see where Fiji can learn from other markets.
Fiji Reserve Bank governor Savenaca Narube will be speaking on "The Global Economic Crisis", Carbon Market Consultants director John Kelly will be speaking on "Climate Change" while Immigration Director Viliame Naupoto will be speaking on "The Brain Drain and Global Migration" among others.
