Kenya may have lost the New Zealand 7s final last year but their semifinal win over New Zealand in Wellington has not been forgotten.
Both sides were locked 14 all at full time before Oscar Ouma scored the winning try for the Kenyans.
Ouma told irb.com that win was just like winning the title.

Ouma added that New Zealand is like a home to them because of their fans.
Meanwhile, Fiji last won the New Zealand 7s in 2010 after beating Samoa 19-14 and skipper Osea Kolinisau scored a try in that final.
He is the only player in the current side that claimed the title in Wellington.
Kolinisau was the joint top try scorer with seven tries that year with Samoa’s Mikaele Pesamino.
Fiji has featured in the NZ finals seven times over the past 14 years and has won on three occasions in 2000, 2006 and 2010.
Benito Masilevu and Samisoni Viriviri are the only players in this team that featured in the Bowl competition for the first time last year.
Fiji will take on New Zealand in their first pool match at 2.06pm, their second pool match is against France at 5.35pm and they will later Spain at 7.28pm in their last pool match this Friday.
The Cup quarter finals kick off at 1.33pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are scheduled for 5.35pm while the cup final kicks off at 8.30pm.
