Tailevu rep and Flying Fijians halfback Nemia Kenatale is believed to be eyeing a contract soon with a club in Japan.

Kenatale had been eyed by the Cherry Blossoms team management who are definite that after a good outing at last week's Pacific Nations Cup, the nippy halfback is likely to land a contract in Japan.

Kenatale made his debut in the Fiji team in 2008, where he played against Tonga and Japan and was also named in the 12-member 7s squad for the Wellington and USA 7s last year.

It is also understood that Digicel Fiji 7s Captain Vereniki Goneva has also landed a contract with a club overseas.

Goneva states that details are still sketchy and confirmation is expected in the next few weeks.
