The Education Ministry has reminded schools to keep school parties clean, as over the years a few secondary schools try to end the school term with social nights of dancing especially after the Coca Cola Games.

Education Minister Filipe Bole said while these social nights are acceptable, we need to ensure that students enjoy themselves in a sociable manner.

He said students will be tempted to sneak in alcohol or even get drunk somewhere before the dances, and Principals, teachers and even parents are requested to join them as chaperones.

He added security should be well observed according to the OHS regulations for the children’s safety and teachers are asked to remain sober throughout the evening.
