Police have urged members of the public to keep away from seas, rivers and creeks.
The call comes after a 32 year old woman became the latest victim who drowned in Milamila Bay Cakaudrove on Friday while saving her relatives.
Police Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the 32 year old woman went for swimming around mid-day on Friday with her young relatives when they were swept away by the strong currents.
The woman managed to rescue her relatives however was swept away by the strong currents.
Some people managed to pull her out but were too late.
