The "Keep Suva City Clean Campaign" and International Volunteers Day was launched this afternoon in efforts to promote and keep Suva City Environment Clean and beautiful.
At the launch this afternoon Suva City Council Spokesperson, Jillian Hicks said they are focusing on the central business district and so far they have had a good response from the businesses.
She also revealed that the council is planning to make this campaign a quarterly campaign.
Meanwhile International Volunteers Committee Chairman Hari Raj Naicker said they are expecting more than three hundred volunteers at the cleanup campaign.
The Clean Up campaign and International Volunteers Day will get underway at Sukuna Park this Saturday.
