Katchafire ready to rock
This is the message from the group Katchafire who arrived into the country last night, giving a preview of what fans can expect at their Redemption Tour with a Tribute to Bob Marley concert which is set to kick off tonight.
Lead vocalist Logan Bell said they don't play a lot of Bob Marley songs these days, so when the group heard that this was a chance to pay tribute to their mentor they jumped at the opportunity.
And with preparations well underway at the Vodafone Arena for the Katchafire Redemption Tour with a Tribute to Bob Marley concert, organisers Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said before the band takes to the stage, they have also put together a pre-concert tribute to the legendary Bob Marley tonight.
Katchafire who are being brought into the country by Communications Fiji Limited the parent company of Fijivillage, Legend FM, FM96, VitiFM, Radio Sargam, Navtarang, Total Event Company and CinemAds are in the country for their one off concert tonight.
The Katchafire Redemption Tour with a Tribute to Bob Marley will be held at the Vodafone Arena tonight with gates opening at 6pm.
Tickets are on sale at the Home of Fijivillage at 231 Waimanu Road Suva, at the Sugarcane Growers Council Building in Lautoka and at SPR Outlets in Suva and Nadi.
