The two members of the Fiji Karate Federation returned home empty handed from the 19th World Karate Championship that was held last weekend in Japan.
Beato Lenoa lost out to a Belgium opponent in the second round of the individual Kata event.
The other Kata member Marika Rodu won his opening round fight against a Uruguay opponent in the Open Kumite event but loss to a Mauritius opponent in the second round.
Rodu also put up a good fight in the over-80kg fight but lost to Spain.
Both members returned home this morning.
