Australian Kangaroos captain Cameron Smith believes that the semi final clash against the Vodafone Fiji Bati this week will be different as the Bati keeps on improving in every game in the Rugby League World Cup.

Smith said they had to play tough against the Bati in the pool play.

Vodafone Fiji Bati head coach Rick Stone says he will have a few tricks up his sleeve for the Kangaroos.

The Bati lost 66-8 to Australia in the 2000 World Cup, suffered a 52-0 hammering in the 2008 semifinal and lost 34-2 in pool play two weeks ago.

The Vodafone Fiji Bati will play Australia in the second Rugby League World Cup semifinal this Sunday at 4:30am while New Zealand meet England at 2am.
