Richard Kahui’s season with the Chiefs is over after it was confirmed he is to undergo more surgery this week on his shoulder.
The 27-year-old has had six operations on his shoulders throughout his career including four reconstructions.
Chiefs coach Dave Rennie said Kahui has been in fantastic form this season since his return from shoulder surgery last year.
Kahui is due to take up a contract with the Japanese club Toshiba in August.
The Chiefs will take on the Force at 7:35pm this Friday while the Reds host the Sharks at 9:40pm.
