Strong winds are still being felt in Kadavu and Lagalevu Villager George O'Connor said they have woken up to a sea of destruction this morning.
The Southern Lau group also experienced heavy rain and strong winds.
The wind and rain has eased in Matuku.
Post Fiji official Aisea Baleikoro said that at the moment the wind has died down and the rain has stopped.
However, Baleikoro is waiting for daylight to go around and assess the situation outside before he can confirm the extent of the damage.
