The Kadavu Under 14 is aiming for a better finish at this year's Milo Kaji tournament.
Earlier this morning, Kadavu edged Ovalau 6-3 in the elimination to qualify for the quarterfinals this afternoon.
Kadavu under 14 fullback Laisiasa Kalidamanu converted a penalty in the last minute for the win.
Kadavu coach Joji Voli said they are now focusing on the quarterfinals and has urged his players to lift their game.
In other under 14 elimination results, Nadi thrashed Naitasiri Warriors 29-0 while Nasinu beat Navosa 10-0.
The semifinals and finals will be held tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium.
