Kadavu, one of the 21 districts that will be taking part at the FMF Chow Primary Schools Athletics finals has only one aim this year, be ranked second best in the country after being ranked Fourth last year.

The 80 member strong team, which arrived into Suva last week had three training sessions at the National Stadium and faced difficulties adapting to the tracks as they are used to grass tracks but are confident of achieving their aim, to take back 12 gold medals to the island.

Assistant manager Sunia Lesivou said a few athletes had blisters but will still be running barefoot to better their standing.

The FMF Chow Primary Schools Athletics finals will be held this Friday and Saturday at the National Sports Stadium.
