It was a day of merry making and celebrations as close to 1000 people from Kadavu finally celebrated the opening of their building in downtown Suva.
Kadavu Holdings Limited Director Ratu Sela Nanovo said many had come from all around the country and some had made the journey from the island to witness and be part of the celebrations today.
Nanovo said after the unlucky fate of the Bulou Ni Ceva it was a welcome sight to see the people of Kadavu laying claim to something they own.
The $30.3million building was officially opened by the chiefs of Kadavu today.
