The Ministry of Justice is expected to present a report to the Public Service Commission soon on its plans regarding the voluntary redundancy packages soon to be offered to civil servants.
Permanent Secretary Pio Tikoduadua said people are interested to take up the offer however they have to see how this will impact their service delivery and functions.
The PSC has announced that it intends to offer voluntary redundancy packages to some 5000 civil servants who fall in the 52 to 54 year age category.
