These were the final words of Judge Justice Roger Coventry at a farewell function at the Tanoa Plaza organized by the Fiji Law Society.
Justice Coventry, who arrived in the country three years ago, said the decision to terminate his contract was his own.
He has also clarified that he is not going to the Solomon Islands as reported by some of the media outlets.
Justice Coventry was the only Judge of the High Court bench in Fiji, who has sat as a member of the Court of Appeal.
Meanwhile, the President of the Fiji Law Society Isireli Fa said that it is a matter of concern that the affairs of the judiciary are in an appalling state adding that they will bring this up with the Chief Justice and the Judicial Service Commission.
