A long line of family rivalry was settled in the Wild West Boxing Promotions program last night.
Lautoka Muslim School student, Junior Wahid Khan set the record straight last night when he defeated the son of his father’s nemesis, Junior Kaur Singh in a points decision.
The 18‑year‑old says his father fought his opponent’s father three times in his boxing career and the record was never set straight because their last fight was a draw.
Khan plans to continue his boxing career after secondary school but he says this will all be determined after he receives his Year 13 exam results.
