High Court Judge Thomas Hickie said the role of the judiciary in time of crisis is very clear and that it is to uphold the law.

While addressing the prosecutors in the last day of the DPP Conference in the Fijian Hotel yesterday, Hickie said a lot of attacks have been made to the judicial system after the December 5th, 2006 events but they should remember their role, as the public will then have confidence in their work.
