Suva High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo is expected to sum up the case of a former police officer who allegedly stole money from Central Police Station exhibit room, tomorrow.

Director of Public Prosecution Lawyer Ana Tuiketei and Defence Counsel Mehboob Raza made their closing remarks in the High Court today.

Satya Nand charged with three counts of Larceny by servant, attempted larceny and forgery is alleged to have stolen $28,900, money which was recovered by police in an ATM robbery.

The incident allegedly happened between 7th January 2003 to January 29th last year.

In his closing address Defense counsel Mehboob Raza told the three assessors and Judge Justice Salesi Temo to consider, whether there is enough evidence to prove that Nand took the money from the exhibit room, as he had the opportunity to take $83,000 and there is no evidence to support that the money that was in the exhibit room was shifted.
