High court judge, Justice Salesi Temo is expected to deliver a written judgement this morning for the six men involved in the Omkar road murder and rape trial.

Last Thursday the three assessors in the trial handed down a verdict where they found the former boyfriend of the 22 year old deceased, Anesh Ram, guilty of murder.

However the assessors found all the six men not guilty of rape.

Ram is being remanded at the Korovou prison while the other five accused namely Keshwa Nand, Vikash Chand, Sat Dewan Nair, Binesh Kumar and Anil Singh are on bail.

Justice Temo earlier acquitted the five men on the murder charge as he found no evidence that they had participated in the death of the 22 year old woman on the 8th of June, 2008.
