The fight that was supposed to be held between Fiji's Joy "The Jet" Ali and "Shine Cruise" Kalolo Faitua from Samoa has been called off.

Promoter Zara Ali said that the fight was called off because Faitua did not match up with the experience that Ali has.

Fiji Boxing Commission member, Isimeli Cerelala also confirmed that the fight has been called off because the promoters submitted the fight details late.

Cerelala adds that there will be no more fights and the only fight left for the year is the fight between Joy Ali and Joseph Kwandjo in December.
