A group of journalists from Hong Kong will be spending a week in the country to get a true taste of what Fiji is like.
Tourism Fiji Chairman Patrick Wong said this being done as part of their promotional campaign where the group of journalists from Hong Kong will be coming on Air Pacific's return flight from Hong Kong and will spend a week visiting various tourist hotspots.
Wong said at the end of their stay they are hoping that when journalists return they will spread the word about Fiji.
Meanwhile Prime Minister Commodore Vorege Bainimarama led a delegation to Hong Kong this morning.
Director Civil Aviation, Akuila Waradi said this air services agreement was negotiated in April this year and Air Pacific's first direct flight to Hong Kong was on Thursday.
He adds this will benefit our tourism industry as well as the business sector.
