Former Nadroga centre, Jonetani Ratu will lead the Police rugby team as they challenge the Sukuna Bowl "Tanoa" against arch rivals and defending champions, Army on Friday.
Assistant Director Operations, SSP Erami Raibe made the announcement this afternoon.
Raibe adds that the experience and leadership skills shown by Ratu on and off the field granted him the captains position and they are confident he will lead the team well.
Other team members include former Nadroga team-mates, Emosi Vucago, Jonetani Ralulu, Mesulame Soga, Joeli Lutumailagi, Apisalome Waqatabu, Semi Nacagilevu and Manoa Tamaya.
This morning, Police Commissioner, Brigadier General, Iowane Naivalarua told his officers to forget about the 14-0 loss to Army last year and focus on the future.
