Shareholders of Gaunavou Investment said they do not recognize the company chairman and former minister Jonetani Kaukimoce who is calling for the annual general meeting tomorrow in Suva.

Shareholders representative Atama Beci said that Kaukimoce had been directed by the shareholders to call the AGM three consecutive times last year, but he refused to do so and the Registrar of Companies then took action with the agreement of shareholders to sack Kaukimoce and all the directors including former Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka.

However, Kaukimoce maintains that he still holds the position of chairman of the company and their names are still with the registrar of companies and there are some disputes with the audited account.
