The newly elected Interim Minister for Fisheries and Forest, Joketani Cokanasiga is ready to take up the challenge as cabinet minister in the Interim Government.
Cokanasiga was sworn in this morning at Government House before President Ratu Josefa Iloilo and Interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama.
Meanwhile, the Interim Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama in a statement said, that he is relieved that a person of Cokanasiga's caliber has agreed to the challenge in accepting the ministerial appointment.
Bainimarama adds the current size of cabinet is less than half that of the size of the SDL Cabinet. The inclusion of Cokanasiga would bring the size of his Cabinet to 17 ministers.
