First some coaches and rugby pundits had said that he is great on attack but very weak in defence but now he has got the break.
Joji Ragamate’s dream has come true after he was included yesterday in the final 12 member team for the Hong Kong and Japan Sevens leg of the IRB World Sevens Series.
The 22 year grew up dreaming of playing at Happy Valley one day and now he will have a chance to showcase his skills at the highest level.
Ragamate first represented Fiji at last year’s Pacific Games in New Caledonia where the team settled for silver.
The former Natabua High school student said he was inspired by two of Fiji’s best in the abbreviated code.
Fiji will play Scotland in its first match of the Hong Kong Sevens next Friday at 9:06pm.
