Maturing Kiwis playmaker Shaun Johnson shapes as the man Australia have to stop in this week's Four Nations final in Wellington.

Johnson has been a revelation for the unbeaten Kiwis in the end of season tournament behind the menacing New Zealand pack and was a key player in their convincing 30‑12 opening round win over Australia.

The Warriors' halfback has combined brilliantly with Manly five‑eighth Kieran Foran ‑ and Kangaroos skipper Cameron Smith says Johnson has become the Kiwis Test spearhead with a series of consistently impressive performances at representative level.

Smith said Johnson is a huge threat given his ability to run the ball.

The Kangaroos face the Kiwis at 8.45pm this Saturday.
