Job Evaluation Report won’t be implemented
This had been confirmed by Deputy Secretary for Information Major Neumi Leweni as he was reacting to a circular which was earlier issued to all ministries and departments, including the Disciplined Services that the Job Evaluation report had been implemented and that it was long overdue.
Leweni said the Job Evaluation report which includes a pay increase across the board will not come into effect as this is not the right time.

Cabinet also approved the implementation of the JER for the General Civil Service on the 1 percent increase per year for 5 years, for classifications of SS02 or equivalent and above, to compromise the first three phases of 3 percent on the first implementation and to be effective from the 1st of last month, and the next 2 phases of 2 percent to be effective from the 1st of Jan, 2010.
