A massive hunt has begun for seven men who robbed the Anita Jewellers headquarters in Ba about half an hour ago.

One of the Directors, Bhaskar Lal Jogia has confirmed that a robber who posed himself as a customer, told the security officer to open the door.

As the security officer opened the door another four masked men armed with cane knives, pinch bars and crowbars smashed the show glass and entered the jewellery store.

They threatened employees before making away with Jewellery worth over $150 thousand dollars.

Three employees received minor injuries during the attack.

The robbers then fled in a van registration DZ 127. Police are at scene trying to establish whether the van was stolen or whether a fake number plate was fitted into the van.
