Japan's Parliamentary Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs Chinami Nishimura is in the country today and will hold bilateral talks with Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola this afternoon.
The meeting between Nishimura and Ratu Inoke is expected to be centered around bilateral issues and other issues of mutual concern.
Nishimura will also visit the Japan ICT centre at USP, which was funded by the Japanese Government and recently handed over to the University.
