Japan is out break their losing drought in Fiji in their last Pacific Nations Cup match on Friday when they take on the Flying Fijians.

Japan has played Fiji 10 times since 1990, with Fiji winning 8 and Japan winning two games in 1994 in Tokyo and Mutsuyama.

For coach John Kirwan he has never beaten his Fijian counterpart Ilivasi Tabua in their last four outings but he is looking forward in trying to finish this years PNC on a high note.

Kirwan said he has challenged his boys to beat Fiji for the first time on their home ground and also end their 15 year losing streak.
