While Opening the $133,000 Japanese funded Agriculture Science Laboratory and a Green House at the Suva Muslim Collage, the first Secretary at the Embassy of Japan, Tatsushi Matsuo stressed Japan will continue to provide funding assistance for the development of Education in Fiji.

However, according to Matsuo these kinds of assistance will be diverted to grassroot levels only.
