All Blacks winger Cory Jane said maybe it is time for New Zealand fans to stop being so heavy with Quade Cooper.

Kiwi born Cooper was jeered throughout last year’s Rugby World Cup and now Jane wonders if the Wallabies playmaker, who has been named to start at Eden Park tomorrow night, has served his time.

Jane said he thinks sometimes the crowd probably needs to let it be.

Jane added he didn’t know Cooper well but harbored no ill-will towards him.

It is no secret the All Blacks used Cooper’s antics with skipper Richie McCaw last year to motivate them before their World Cup semifinal.

All Blacks No8 Kieran Read is promising to make Cooper’s return to Eden Park an eventful one.

New Zealand beat Australia last week 27-19.

The All Blacks will host the Wallabies at 7:35pm tomorrow while Argentina will meet the Springboks at 7:10am Sunday.
