Solomon’s Islands Police Commissioner Jahir Khan after receiving immense pressure from the Government has agreed to resign from his post.
The Solomon Islands Prime Minister, Derek Sikua sent a letter to Commissioner Jahir Khan directing him to resign or face a tribunal under the Police act.
Speaking to Radio New Zealand Khan said that the Solomon government has accepted his proposal to leave when his current contract finishes in June.
