The Junior All Blacks, after coming out winners against Samoa last weekend in Apia are raring to take on the Fijians on their home ground this week.
Junior All Blacks Head Coach Colin Cooper said the contest will be very close between the two teams.
The Junior All Blacks have replaced the New Zealand Maori side who were winners in last year's competition.
The Flying Fijians take on the Junior All Blacks on Thursday at 3pm at Lautoka's Churchil Park, and Japan meet Samoa at 1pm at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
