The organisers of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7's are hoping that members of the Digicel Fiji 7's team will play for their respective clubs during their tournament.
President Bill Mar has confirmed that they are talking with the Fiji Rugby Union to allow the players to help their club in winning the $15,000 dollars prize money.
Mar said FRU CEO Keni Dakuidreketi has told him that the decision on whether the players will play in the Fiji team or in their clubs will be up to Coach Iliesa Tanivula.
Meanwhile, the Papua New Guinea 7's team is yet to confirm whether they will take part in the Marist 7s next weekend.
Coach Waisale Serevi will confirm on Thursday.
The Fiji 7's Barbarians team is the defending champions and there is still no confirmation on whether they will play again next week.
The Marist 7's will be held at the TFL Stadium from the 5th and 6th of next week.
