The Interim Education Minister said it’s too late for the Teachers Unions to demand for changes or criticize the Ministry's decision to improve the pass rate in the under-performing schools.
Netani Sukanaivalu is replying to criticism from Teachers Unions who are saying that his plan to move teachers from schools that have external exam results lower than 50 percent will be transferred to other schools is baseless.
This is after the Fiji Teachers Union and the Fijian Teachers Association said that it was unfair for the Interim Minister to lay the blame on teachers as different schools have different types of students and therefore the teachers should not be blamed.
