The Methodist Church of Fiji is expected to meet again with the Interim government next year and discuss some of the issues which the church has been raising after the December 5th takeover.

Church General Secretary Reverand Ame Tugawe said there has been a breakthrough and they are relieved after Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama decided to write off the $435,000 church debt regarding the Ba Mission Hospital.

Reverand Tugawe said that the Church hopes that there are more discussions with the interim administration in the near future.
