Former Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka said he will not talk against the government and not do anything that will be detrimental to the progress of the country.

Rabuka said he has already accepted the government's decision to scrap his Prime Minister's Pension and all the benefits.

He said it is time to move on.

Meanwhile a number of pension termination letters have gone out.

Permanent Secretary at Prime Minister's Office Lieutenant Colonel Pio Tikoduadua when asked by reporters who else, apart from Former Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, have received the letters.

Lt Colonel Tikoduadua said with the stopping of these government pensions, people in the rural areas will have better use of this money.
