These are the words of Solomon Islands Ambassador to the UN Collin Beck, during a presentation of Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environmental Programme at day two of the Copenhagen Climate Change Conference.
Beck said he was disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm on the part of the industrialized countries to take any action.
The summit is designed to try and find a new binding agreement between all member states to reduce carbon emissions and replace the Kyoto protocol on Climate Change, which ensures that industrialized nations to make firm commitments to reduce emissions.
The Fiji contingent headed by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama consists of over 10 Government officials as well as some youth activists.
The Climate Change Conference ends on December 18th.
