It's going to be a mind game at the Wellington 7s next year between the Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Iliesa Tanivula and former Fiji player and Coach Waisale Serevi after the Pools were drawn by the IRB.

This is after Fiji and Papua New Guinea, who is now coached by Serevi were drawn in the same pool.

But Fiji will be top seeds in Pool B while they also have Australia and Scotland in their Pool.

New Zealand, who are the current IRB Sevens World Series leaders, have been handed a tough draw.

Gordon Tietjen's side will start on home soil as top seeds by virtue of their strong start to the season Cup winners in both Dubai and George but face defending Series champions South Africa, Wales and Niue on Day One in Pool A.

Defending Wellington 7s champions England, line up in Pool C with three tough matches against Tonga, Kenya and USA while Samoa head Pool D and will play against Argentina, France and Canada.

The Wellington 7s tournament will be held on the 5th-6th of February next year.
