These are the words of the Interim Foreign Affairs Minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau in reference to the Interim Government's refusal of the request by the Australian High Commission to bring in their Australian Federal Police for security purposes.
The Australian High Commissioner received two death threats, one via personal delivery of a letter through a taxi driver and the other via the mail last week.
The Interim Foreign Affairs Minister said the decision has been made and local police will provide the required security adding there is no need for the Australian Federal Police to enter the country.
Also Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, other Foreign Affairs officials met with members of the Diplomatic Corp, who expressed their concern at the death threats.
