The SDL party has warned the Interim Government to consider the report released by the EU Troika Mission since assistance programs to Fiji can be affected.
SDL National Director Peceli Kinivuai said the ball is in the Interim Government’s court.
The National Federation Party's General Secretary Pramod Rae has similar sentiments adding the Interim Government should follow their commitment already given to the EU to hold elections by March 2009.
This comes after the EU Troika Mission said it expects the Interim Government to meet commitments it has taken in the areas of the rule of law and respect for one's human rights, and to ensure elections not later than the end of February 2009.
