Top trainer Bart Cummings who is going for his 13th Melbourne Cup win, said his horses Viewed, Roman Emperor and Allez Wonder can claim the first three placings today.
The other horses that can win today's race are Shocking, Daffodil, Harris Tweed and Master O'Reilly.
Grants Waterhouse Manager Bijen Kumar said this year's Melbourne Cup will be very interesting and it’s hard to say who will win despite Viewed being the clear favourite.
Kumar said punters have been putting big money on their favourite horses for today's race.
The Melbourne Cup race will start at 4 this afternoon.
